Our History.

Originally called Strategic Partners Wealth Management, the vision for SIGNIFY WEALTH began in 2003 when founder, Stephen P. Rhodes, became a financial advisor. As he observed the ever-increasing overload of financial information/opinions, decreasing satisfaction with financial firms and growing confusion about what really matters in life, Stephen desired to build a firm that would serve as the trusted advisor for those who truly want to live a life that will SIGNIFY what’s most important to them.

Though our name has changed, we remain fiercely committed to helping our clients make their lives and their wealth matter.

Our Team


Stephen Rhodes CFP, MaED
Managing Principal

Author, advisor, teacher and coach, Stephen founded the firm with the mission of helping each client spend more time doing the things that make life worth living. As Managing Principal, Stephen works closely with a number of families and businesses and is responsible for the visionary leadership of SIGNIFY WEALTH.

After triple majoring in Finance, Management, and Human Resources, Stephen received his BSBA from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University. Always looking to give back to the community, he temporarily postponed his business career as he spent 5 years teaching mathematics to a high-risk population at the Maplewood Richmond Heights Student Success Center. While doing so, he returned to his alma mater to receive a Masters of Arts In Education and shortly thereafter began his career as an advisor. Stephen is a Certified Financial Planner, NFLPA Registered Player Financial Advisor, holds numerous securities licenses, and has contributed to various media outlets.

When not serving our clients or his church, Stephen enjoys working out, reading, relaxing with his wife and four children, and attempting to relive his glory days while playing flag football.

Jonathan Perry
Director Of Client Services

Jonathan is passionate about executing with precision. As a client planning specialist, he is responsible for the implementation of our comprehensive planning process. Jonathan works directly with our clients and strategic partners to ensure we are exceeding expectations.

Jonathan has over 8 combined years of experience in book keeping and claims processing and loves using his attention to detail serve clients.

When he is not serving he enjoys spending time with wife and two children and serving at his church.

Matt Milroy
Client Development Associate

Matt’s passion is leading with excellence. As a Client Development Associate, Matt works closely with our professional baseball clients to help them succeed both on and off the field.

Matt studied communications at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, but paused this pursuit when he was drafted in 2012 to pitch for the Miami Marlins Baseball Organization. His talent and hard work led him to become a Mid-Season South Atlantic League All Star and allowed him to lead his team to a first half Division Championship and playoff birth. Matt continued his leadership with the Texas Ranger Organization, where his contributions helped the team win the 2016 California League Championship. After ending his professional baseball career, Matt returned to the University of Illinois to complete his degree.

When he is not serving clients, Matt enjoys teaching baseball, working out, and spending time with family.

Diane Brinkman
Director of Operations

Diane’s passion is serving with excellence. As Director of Operations, Diane oversees the internal systems, databases, and procedures that allow our firm to keep its commitments. She is the cheerful face and welcoming voice of Signify Wealth. While managing the needs of our growing clientele requires discipline and attention to detail, Diane always finds time to listen.

In addition to her zeal to serve, Diane has 35+ years of experience in the financial services industry with AG Edwards and Wells Fargo and loves using this expertise to serve our clients.

When she is not serving clients, Diane enjoys four wheeling and spending time with her family.
